So he curls up in his bed, he tries to ride it out,
but the thoughts become overwhelming & the shakes are coming now

The coming of a new age took place on a couch near a college
& the rain falling down was written as a ripped up diary
& the love was all around, the fear was seeping in
& he claws & stomps & wrestles at the place he's living in
& she will be a finger in the darkness of the night
inviting him to stand up & know that it's all alright
